Objective Timer

Keep this open on a second monitor. Hit Start when your match begins and never miss a Rift, Urn, or Mid-boss again.

ELAPSED 00:00
How to use it: press Start the moment your match begins (when the gates open). Each row counts down to the next spawn. At 30 seconds out the row turns gold and — if sound is on — you'll hear a chime. When an objective is live, the row pulses red. Rift and Urn timers auto-advance to the next cycle; the Mid-boss row shows live from the start (it's present at 0:00) and respawns 7 / 6 / 5 minutes after each kill.

Timings are approximate and shift slightly with patches: first Rift ~11:00 then every ~7:00 · Soul Urn first ~10:00 then every ~5:00 · Mid-boss present from match start (0:00), respawns 7 / 6 / 5 minutes after each kill. Last checked October 2026.

Unstable Rift — What to Do When It Fires

First spawn ≈ 11:00, then roughly every 7 minutes. King of the hill on the side-lane bridge.

  • Rotate as a group, 30 seconds early. When the timer hits gold, start moving — arriving late means walking into a set-up team. The rift is a teamfight objective, not a solo errand.
  • Know the payout. A Rift capture pays the whole team and scales with game time (from ~1,482 souls — see the Soul Calculator). Late-game rifts are worth more than most teamfights, so contest them harder as the match goes long.
  • Don't stand in the open. The bridge is a natural choke — check for the enemy team before you start channeling the capture. A stolen rift is a free objective for them.

Soul Urn — What to Do When It Fires

First spawn ≈ 10:00, then roughly every 5 minutes. Escort the urn across the map.

  • Assign a courier and an escort. The courier can fight while carrying, but can't use ziplines, teleporters, or parry — and a melee hit or stun drops the Urn. Escort them anyway: dropped urns can be picked up by the enemy.
  • Deliver fast — the value is locked at spawn. Holding the urn longer doesn't increase its payout, and if you carry it too long it starts decaying: about 45 seconds after pickup it loses value over the next 45 seconds until it hits zero. Slow deliveries earn nothing.
  • Watch the drop. When the urn arrives, its souls release as orbs that enemies can deny — the same orb mechanics as lane farming (see How the Soul Economy Works). Clear nearby enemies before confirming.
  • Bonus for the courier. Delivering also grants four random permanent stat buffs. A fed courier snowballs harder than the raw souls suggest.

Mid-boss — What to Do When It Fires

Present from match start in the central underground area, then respawns roughly 7 / 6 / 5 minutes after each kill. Killing it drops the Rejuvenator crystal — claim it with 3 heavy melee hits for team revive credits.

  • Don't start it solo. The mid-boss has a regenerating damage-blocking shield and high damage output — it takes coordinated team damage. One hero alone feeds it.
  • Expect company. When the boss drops to 60% health it roars loud enough for both teams to hear. Assume the enemy is coming and post watchers or set an ambush instead of just burning it down.
  • Mark the kill time. It respawns about 7 minutes after the first death, then 6, then 5 — so note when your team (or the enemy) takes it. The next fight is already scheduled.

10:00 Changes Everything

Three objectives going live at once is only part of it — the whole map shifts at the 10-minute mark:

  • Powerup runes spawn at 5:00 and every 5 minutes after (two per spawn, near the urn spawn/dropoff bridges). Four types — Movement, Gun, Casting, Survival — each lasting 160 seconds. Grab one on your way to an objective.
  • Tier 2 Buff Containers and mid-boxes spawn (mid-boxes respawn after 3 minutes) — break them for permanent stat buffs.
  • Structure resistances are fading: Lane Guardians hit their minimum timed damage resistance at 12:00, Walkers at 18:00 — and the first Unstable Rift opens around 11:00.
