Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Almost nothing. Browsing this site requires no account and no personal information. We do not track you across the web and we do not sell data. The sections below cover the few exceptions — the optional game login, community features, analytics, and affiliate links.

Accounts (DL-dle game)

Our daily guessing game DL-dle offers optional logins so you can keep your streaks across devices. If you create an account, we store:

• Your email address (used only for login and account recovery)
• Your game data — daily guesses and streak counts

Accounts are powered by Supabase Auth (email/password sign-in). Your password is stored securely by Supabase and never visible to us. We never use your email for marketing, and we never share it with anyone. Deleting your account deletes your stored game data — contact us (see below) to request this.

Site Accounts, Profiles, and Community Builds

You can create a free site account (sign-in button in the top-right of every page) to save builds in the Build Planner, share builds publicly on the Community Builds page, like other players' builds, and keep a public profile. If you create an account, we store:

• Your email address (used only for login and account recovery)
• Your username — the public display name you choose at sign-up (3-20 characters, letters/numbers/underscores). This is visible to everyone on the site.
• Your profile details — anything you add to your profile page: bio, playstyle, and social handles (Discord, Twitch, YouTube, X/Twitter, Steam). All of this is public by design, so only share what you're comfortable showing the world.
• Your saved builds — hero, items, ability levels, names, and descriptions. Builds you mark private are visible only to you; builds you mark public appear on the Community Builds page and on your public profile, along with your username and like counts.
• Your likes — which public builds you've liked (used only to count likes and prevent duplicates).
• Your Duo Finder listing — if you post one: rank, playstyle, preferred heroes, availability, and mic/beginner-friendly flags. Listings are public and expire after 7 days. Your Discord handle (from your profile) is shown to signed-in users who click "Send Invite".
• Your comments on community builds — the text you post and your username, visible to everyone.
• Your reputation and badges — earned from community activity (sharing builds, getting likes). Displayed on your profile and next to your name.

Accounts are powered by Supabase Auth (email/password sign-in). Your password is stored securely by Supabase and never visible to us. We never use your email for marketing, and we never share it with anyone. Your login session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits.

Deleting your data: you can delete any of your builds at any time from the planner or your profile page, and clear your profile fields by saving them empty. To delete your account and all associated data (profile, builds, likes), contact us (see below) and we'll remove it.

Fan Art Votes

Voting on fan art stores two things: the vote totals on our database (Supabase) so the community ranking is shared, and a record on your own device (browser local storage) of which pieces you've voted for, so you can't vote twice on the same piece. No account or personal information is involved in voting.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular in aggregate — for example, how many visits the Heroes page gets in a day. This is privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics: it contains no personally identifiable information, no fingerprinting, and no individual tracking. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and Local Storage

This site does not set any cookies of its own. A few pages use your browser's local storage (data that stays on your device and never reaches our servers):

• fan-art.html — remembers which pieces you've voted for
• DL-dle — remembers your login session and daily guesses between visits
• Site sign-in — remembers your account session so you stay signed in across pages

Clearing your browser's site data removes this information. If third-party services are embedded in the future (such as video embeds), they may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies.

Affiliate Links

Some product links on this site (currently on the Gear page) are affiliate links tagged with our Amazon Associates ID. Clicking one takes you to Amazon, which operates under its own privacy policy — Amazon may use its own cookies and tracking for the referral. We do not receive your personal information from affiliate clicks, only aggregate referral data (which products were bought, not who bought them).

Contact

If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to respond. We will never share your email address or use it for marketing.
