Hero Tier List

Every hero ranked by actual win rate — October 2026 patch. These aren't opinions; they're numbers.

How to read this: tiers are based on actual win rates across 500,000+ recent matches — not opinions. S-tier heroes aren't just "stronger," they're easier to win with. If you're new, start at the top and work down. Data from deadlockhandbook.com, patch of October 6–13, 2026.

A Note for Beginners

A hero's tier matters less than your comfort on them. A C-tier hero you've played 50 games on will beat an S-tier hero you're trying for the first time. Use this list to pick your first few heroes, not to judge your teammates' picks.

That said: if you're brand new and want the easiest path to winning, you can't go wrong with Dynamo (A-tier, simplest high-impact kit), Seven (S-tier, straightforward carry), or Abrams (B-tier, very forgiving).

Patch watch — October 14: the day after this data window, Valve shipped a tuning pass that nerfed Baba across the board (longer cooldowns on Threadsap, Granny Long Legs and Baba's Brew, weaker barrier) and buffed Deadman Danny in almost every direction (more health, harder-hitting shots, faster Strix Salvo). Expect Baba to slide down from B-tier and Danny's numbers to stabilize upward — this list will be refreshed once the post-patch data settles. Cross-check: an independent win-rate tier list from October 12 (deadlock-api.com data) names the same top five (Rat King, Paige, Graves, Seven, Haze) and the same bottom three (Shiv, Solomon, Mirage).
